Tassels-n-Toes was founded in 2005 by Shoshanna,
Tamyra and Katiah. Since then the Tribe has grown and adopted Nadira Indigo,
Linna and Mary. Each member brings her own unique style and experience to the
tribe.
Shoshanna has been dancing all of her life.
She has intensely studied the tribal dances of the Middle East and North Africa.
In 2000 she began studying ATS. In 2002 she began teaching American Tribal Style Belly dance.
Tamyra is a founding member of T-N-T.
She has been involved is dance most of her life, and loves to explore new styles. In addition to her busy private life
she also teaches beginner and intermediate level Tribal classes.
Katiah is a driving force of T-N-T. She brings many influences of Ballet, Jazz and Modern dance to the tribe for a well-rounded
style.
Mistique has
been dancing with T-N-T for the last two years. She is an inspiration to us all,
and gives us great positive energy!
Nadira Indigo Came to T-N-T after
taking formal Raks Sharki classes. After several years in these classes she tried
Tribal and found that she loved it. She has been with us ever since.
Liynaa came to A-T-S with no previous dance
experience. She recently performed her first solo dance at Tribal Spirit 2007. Kudos to her!
